 Report on the Programme: App for the Week

The programme titled App for the Week was organized by the B.Ed Malayalam Optional Students of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, a research centre in education accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade (CGPA 3.40), and was conducted on 24 October 2025 at 9:30 AM in the General Hall. The session aimed to promote technology-assisted learning by introducing the mobile application Challenger: Kerala PSC Exams, which supports aspirants preparing for Kerala PSC examinations through practice tools and subject-wise learning resources. The app was presented by Jishna P, who demonstrated its features, practical usefulness, and relevance for exam preparation. The event successfully enhanced participants’ awareness of digital educational resources and encouraged greater integration of mobile technology into academic activities under the coordination of Dr. K. S. Sajan and the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Smitha R, Principal-in-Charge.

 Report on “App for the Week” Programme


The IT Club of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, in collaboration with the 1st Year English Optional students, organized an informative session under the initiative “App for the Week.” The event aimed to introduce and explore useful educational and communication-based applications to enhance students’ digital learning experience.


The app featured for the week was Supernova AI Spoken English, a modern AI-powered platform designed to improve English speaking and communication skills. The session was presented by Ms. Meera P., who provided an engaging and detailed demonstration of the app’s features, functions, and benefits for learners.


The programme was conducted on 17th October 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in the General Hall of the college. Students actively participated in the session, expressing keen interest in learning about AI-based tools for language development. The presentation was both informative and inspiring, offering valuable insights into how technology can aid spoken English learning.


The event was coordinated by Dr. K. S. Sajan, IT Club Co-ordinator, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Smitha R., Principal-in-Charge. The session concluded with a positive interaction and feedback from participants, marking it as a successful and educational event.

The session was presented by Sumayya Beegam, who introduced the digital application Posterdo, a creative tool designed for making posters and visual content easily. The presentation highlighted the app’s main features, including customizable templates, design tools, and user-friendly interface, emphasizing its usefulness for teachers and students in preparing educational and promotional materials. The session provided a hands-on demonstration, encouraging participants to explore the app for academic and professional purposes. The event was well-received by attendees, who appreciated the practical insights into using technology for creativity and communication. The programme was successfully coordinated under the guidance of Dr. K. S. Sajan, Coordinator of the IT Club, and Prof. (Dr.) Smitha R, Principal in Charge of NSS Training College, Ottapalam.
