APP FOR THE WEEK PROGRAMME

 The IT Club of NSS Training College, Ottapalam organized an “App for the Week” programme in collaboration with the 1st year B.Ed English students. The objective of the programme was to introduce useful mobile applications that can support learning and improve students’ digital skills.

In this week’s session, the application Vocabulary Builder was introduced. The app helps users improve their English vocabulary through daily words, quizzes, and interactive exercises. It is a useful tool for students who want to enhance their language skills and communication ability.

The programme was presented by Shravya S, who clearly explained the features and benefits of the application. She also demonstrated h

ow the app can be used effectively for learning new words and improving language proficiency.

The programme was compered by A. Remsiya, who coordinated the session smoothly. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. K. Sajan, Coordinator of the IT Club, and Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Kumar K, Principal in charge.

The session was informative and beneficial for the students. It helped them become aware of digital learning tools that can support their academic development.

SUPW Workshop





On 6th March 2026, our college conducted a SUPW Workshop as part of the B.Ed curriculum. The first session focused on paper file making, led by Dr. Anu S, who demonstrated the process and guided students to create impressive files with precision.


In the second session, students formed small groups and worked on products of their choice, showcasing their creativity and skills. The event was a huge success and left a lasting impression on everyone involved .

APP FOR THE WEEK PROGRAMME

An “App for the Week” programme was successfully conducted by the 1st year B.Ed Physical Science students of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, on 03 February 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the General Hall. The programme aimed to introduce a useful mobile application that supports students in their daily life.

The programme began with a formal welcome, followed by the compering done by Athira T.N. The featured application for the week was “Super Alarm”, a mobile application designed to help users manage time effectively through smart alarm features.

The app was presented by Architha Ranjan, who explained the purpose, features, and advantages of the application in a clear and engaging manner. She demonstrated how the app can help students wake up on time, plan their day efficiently, and maintain punctuality. The presentation was informative and well received by the audience.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. K. S. Sajan, Teacher-in-Charge, and was presided over by Prof. Dr. Smitha R, Principal-in-Charge. The session concluded with a brief interaction and appreciation for the presenter.

Overall, the programme was meaningful and beneficial, helping students become aware of digital tools that support time management and academic discipline.

App for the week




The App for the Week programme was conducted by the First Year B.Ed English students of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, Research Centre in Education, on 27 January 2026 at 9.30 am in the General Hall. The institution is NAAC A+ accredited with a CGPA of 3.40 in the III cycle. The programme aimed to introduce a useful mobile application that supports daily motivation among students. The session was compered by Krishnapriya C.K, and the app on motivation and daily quotes was presented by Krishna Damodar. The presenter explained the purpose, features, and benefits of the app, highlighting its role in promoting positive thinking and self discipline through regular use. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. K. S. Sajan, Teacher in Charge, and Prof. Dr. Smitha R, Principal in Charge. The session was informative and engaging, and it successfully created awareness about the effective use of digital tools for personal motivation and well being.

The institution is NAAC A+ accredited with a CGPA of 3.40 in the III cycle. The programme aimed to introduce an educational mobile application that supports learning beyond textbooks. The app titled Hello History was introduced, focusing on presenting historical ideas, personalities, and concepts in an interactive and learner-friendly format. The session was compered by Krishnadas S, and the app was presented by Suchithra T S, who explained its key features, content categories, and educational relevance for students and teachers. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. K. S. Sajan, Coordinator of the IT Club, and Prof. Dr. Smitha R, Principal in Charge. The session was informative and engaging, and it helped students understand the effective use of digital applications in enhancing historical understanding and self-directed learning.
