 Report on “App for the Week” Programme

NSS Training College, Ottapalam

The B.Ed. Mathematics Optional Students of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, organized an “App for the Week” programme on 4th November 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in the General Hall. The session aimed to familiarize students with a useful educational app that enhances productivity and teaching efficiency.

The event commenced with a prayer and Achayavandanam led by Serene Stanley K and Meera P, creating a positive and respectful beginning to the programme. Sreeshma M V efficiently took up the role of compere, ensuring a smooth flow of events.

The app introduced for the week was Microsoft OneNote, a digital note-taking platform that allows users to organize, share, and access information seamlessly. The presentation was conducted by Fidha T, who elaborated on the app’s features, benefits, and applications in academic and personal productivity contexts.

The programme concluded with the National Anthem, marking a respectful end to the session.

 Report on the Programme: App for the Week

The programme titled App for the Week was organized by the B.Ed Malayalam Optional Students of NSS Training College, Ottapalam, a research centre in education accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade (CGPA 3.40), and was conducted on 24 October 2025 at 9:30 AM in the General Hall. The session aimed to promote technology-assisted learning by introducing the mobile application Challenger: Kerala PSC Exams, which supports aspirants preparing for Kerala PSC examinations through practice tools and subject-wise learning resources. The app was presented by Jishna P, who demonstrated its features, practical usefulness, and relevance for exam preparation. The event successfully enhanced participants’ awareness of digital educational resources and encouraged greater integration of mobile technology into academic activities under the coordination of Dr. K. S. Sajan and the supervision of Prof. (Dr.) Smitha R, Principal-in-Charge.

The app featured for the week was Supernova AI Spoken English, a modern AI-powered platform designed to improve English speaking and communication skills. The session was presented by Ms. Meera P., who provided an engaging and detailed demonstration of the app’s features, functions, and benefits for learners.


The programme was conducted on 17th October 2025 at 9:30 a.m. in the General Hall of the college. Students actively participated in the session, expressing keen interest in learning about AI-based tools for language development. The IT Club and Natural Science Students of NSS Training College, Ottapalam jointly organised the programme “App for the Week” on 18th September 2025 at 9:30 am in the General Hall of the college.


The programme was conducted as part of the initiative to introduce useful mobile applications to students and to create awareness about their features and applications in daily life. On this occasion, the app Flo was introduced. The session was presented by Aswathi K P, who explained the functions, uses, and benefits of the app to the audience.
